Workshops and 1-2-1 Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payment
Half Day (1/2) and One Day (1) Workshops - To confirm a workshop booking you are required to pay in full when you place your order - a non-refundable deposit of £50 is included within the price. We will immediately email you to acknowledge your order and confirmation of payment.
Three Day (3) Residential Workshops - To confirm a workshop booking you are required to pay a deposit to secure the workshop booking for the specific date of that workshop. These deposits are non refundable and not transferable to any other workshop. The remaining balance of the workshop fee is due 8 weeks (48 days) prior to the commencement date. If a booking is made 8 weeks or less prior to the workshop date, then the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
Cancellation of Booking
If you wish to cancel a workshop booking you must advise us in writing via email at least 28 days before the workshop commencement date. For cancellations made within this time you will be refunded the workshop fee, less the deposit. For cancellations made less than 28 days before the workshop commencement date, you will be liable for the full workshop fee.
Changes to Workshops
We reserve the right to make changes to the workshop advertised. If cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire, flood, industrial disputes, bereavement, etc.) we may give less than 28 days notice. Should this unlikely event occur, we will contact you to advise you of the workshop changes, and give you the option of accepting or rejecting the change. If you choose to reject, we will offer you a full refund of your payment (including deposit) for the workshop, or you can transfer any payments already made to an alternative workshop, print or tuition from Jack Lodge Photography.
Workshop Cancellations by Jack Lodge Photography
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop and should this happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably possible. Upon cancellation, we will offer you a full refund of your payment (including deposit) for the workshop, or you can transfer any payments already made to an alternative workshop, print or tuition from Jack Lodge Photography.
Accommodation
All three day (3) residential workshops that include overnight accommodation are booked and allocated on a single occupancy basis.
Risk
All 1-2-1 and workshop clients participate at their own risk and Jack Lodge Photography accepts no responsibility for injury or damage done to their persons or property. It is recommended that applicants hold their own personal Public Liability Insurance to cover themselves against injury, theft or cancellation.
Dietary Requirements
Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking so that we can pass onto the relevant accommodation if requested. We will do our best but cannot guarantee that such requests will be met and will have no liability to you if such requests are not met.
Legal Age
All workshop and 1-2-1 participants must be aged 18 years or over on the day of the workshop. Anyone attending under 18 are welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Applicable Law
All Contracts made between Jack Lodge Photography and you shall be governed by the laws of England. You accept that the total liability to you on any matter whatsoever relating to the Contract or on any consequential loss relating to the Contract cannot exceed the total Contract price. Any dispute arising from the Contract must be confirmed by you in writing within 30 days. In the first instance you agree that you and we shall try to reach an amicable settlement via agreement or mediation; if these fail the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Additional Terms & Conditions for 6 and 12-Month Mentoring Programme
When signing up for the 12-month 1-2-1 Landscape Photography Mentoring programme, you are signing up for one single payment of £2595 or £4250 meaning you will save over 10% compared to booking 12 x individual 1-2-1 sessions throughout the year.
It is entirely up to you (the client) on how we split our 8 (or 4) hours of mentoring a month, we can do it all in one day, or spread it out across a mix of in-person or online sessions. For example: We could spend 4 hours together doing a sunrise half-day session on January 13th, then do 4 hours of processing and portfolio reviews over Zoom on January 18th.
If you wish to cancel your mentoring programme, you must advise us in writing via email at least 14 days before the first session commencement date. If you wish to cancel after your first session, you will be offered a partial refund minus the full cost of all 1-2-1 session’s you received (£395 per full-day session and £250 per half-day session).
